Variation on Customer Testimonials

This video is by Babbel.com, which sells foreign language products.  Instead of featuring an actual customer, they were showing off an Irish guy who speaks over nine languages.  They don’t even claim that he is a customer; instead they show someone playing “at the top of their game”. Choosing an average Joe helps the prospective customer say to himself, “If that guy can do it, I can do it.”

He uses all nine languages in this video, with English subtitles.   This helps people interested in languages say “I want to be like him,”, even if he never used the Babbel products at all (he never claims to have used their products in this video).
